About Fieldcraft
Fieldcraft is an Austin-based startup and the first ingredient marketplace for food and agriculture. Thousands of buyers have now joined Fieldcraft from emerging brands to global food and beverage companies. Suppliers on the platform range from a 7 acre orchard to a 40,000 acre Organic operation, and from local processors to the largest ingredient supplier in the world.
Fieldcraft CEO and Co-Founder, Michael Chapman, comes from a farming community and has traveled in nearly 100 countries across all seven continents. He’s passionate about agriculture and sees ingredients as the greatest opportunity to create sustainable food systems. Michael is a veteran and led special operations teams in the CIA. He later served in the White House Situation Room.
Fieldcraft started out by connecting buyers to specialty crop growers and is now the only platform to connect the entire vertical of food production. The co-founders’ roots are in agriculture which gave them a unique perspective into how to streamline the value-added the supply chain. Fieldcraft is on a mission to modernize ingredient sourcing from farm to foodtech.
